		<description>I'm totally not a fan of AdAware and have since lost faith in the program way back early 2001 or 2002; the program just doesn't catch any thing well and whatever it does catch doesn't really remove it problem/for good. 

I instead have since used this guide (which is nearly the same as the method I've been using for years):

&lt;a href="http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=139313" rel="nofollow"&gt;Steps for WinXP (I skip using SUPERAntiSpyware, I'm not uploading a log nor do I find it necessary)&lt;/a&gt;

In addition, I usually boot the computer in Safe Mode before I run MGTools (and sometimes ComboFix) and I also run &lt;a href="http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php" rel="nofollow"&gt;SmitFraudFix by S!Ri&lt;/a&gt;, great program that removes the ever so difficult SmitFraud. This must be run in Safe Mode to prevent SmitFraud from activating at startup.
